Gemini mark — a coffee cup and a teapot

GEMINI

Coffee & Teahouse

Two natures. One table.

Begin

A house of two rituals

Two ways to slow down — one pulled hot as espresso, the other steeped long in glass. Both on from the moment we open.

Gemini is a coffeehouse and a teahouse at once — not one and then the other. Same room, same hands, same hours: two entirely different tempers, both pouring from half past six in the morning to six at night.

Chapter one

While the grinder
runs

Great coffee is built on quality ingredients and trusted partners. We proudly source our beans from Lima Coffee Roasters, a Colorado roaster to serve thoughtfully sourced, expertly roasted coffee — all day, every day. The grinder runs until the door is locked.

Buy from us

Bags of coffee off the same shelf we brew from, and the few good objects we actually use behind the bar. Everything here is on the shelf at No. 8 Kettle Lane — ask any of us, or write ahead and we'll set it aside.

Ask at the bar

Loose leaf, by the tin

Any tea on the list, weighed out into a sealed tin with the steeping notes on the lid.

The Kettle Lane tote

Undyed canvas, the two-sign mark on one side. Fits two bags of beans and a book.

Ask at the bar

The two-natures tee

Cup on the front, teapot on the back. An argument you can wear.

Chapter two

The kettle is on
the whole time

Tea isn't a late act here — the glass pots go out the same hours the espresso does, from open to close. What the end of the week adds is the tea service: on Friday and Saturday afternoons, tea trays and artisan charcuterie boards, for when you'd like to stay a while.

About us · the keepers of the house

Josh & Kate

Two people, two temperaments — which is rather the whole point. One of them came up behind an espresso machine, the other by way of a teapot, and neither would give theirs up; that standoff is why the house pours both, all day, every day. Together, Josh and Kate built the room they always wanted to sit in — and they hope you'll want to stay awhile too.

— with love, from both sides of the bar

itself

A tall room with a marble bar and too many windows. Come at seven for the noise, or at three for the quiet — both menus are open either way. Bring someone who is your opposite.
